The 3rd International Conference of the Portuguese Society for Engineering Education (CISPEE 2018) will keep the focus on the excellence in engineering education (research and practice), present in the previous editions of the Conference (CISPEE 2013 and 2016), together with novel forum discussions. With this format, the Portuguese Society for Engineering Education (SPEE) and the Science and Engineering Education (SEE) group of University of Aveiro, intend to provide participants with the unique opportunity of attending and be involved in not only the ultimate research in the Engineering Education thematic, but also participate in a series of open debates, discussion and decision on the role of Higher Education Teaching (and Teacher’s) in today’s and future Societies. To further accomplish the latter, CISPEE 2018 is now open to contributions from engineering and STEM education researchers, practitioners and decision-makers.
